Starting as a self-taught VFX enthusiast in 2007, Sina Ghavidel Mehr gradually shifted into a professional role by 2013, achieving an independent milestone with his first feature film as a visual effects supervisor. A graduate of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology, Sina founded NOVA Post-production house in Tehran in 2007. Over time, NOVA organically grew into a respected studio for visual effects, bringing Sina consecutive nominations at the Fajr Film Festival from the 34th to the 37th edition. In 2017, he obtained a Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance license for digital labs, allowing NOVA to extend its services to include color correction and finalization. Sina's ongoing aspiration is to contribute to the post-production industry, with a focus on unifying services under NOVA's roof.
