It’s hard not to think of the Nickelodeon heyday of the early 2000s when watching Lifetime’s I Am Your Biggest Fan, a film that traffics in the usual abduction themes with a ‘reboot’ twist.

Fifteen years ago, Delilah Douglas was the lead on a bog standard family sitcom called From the Hart. With her days as a tween star far behind her, Delilah is happily teaching high school students about Shakespeare when she gets the call: the sitcom has found new life in the age of streaming and the Hollywood suits have greenlit a contemporary reboot with the original cast reprising their roles.

The problem? Delilah has no interest in going back to acting. As revealed in flashbacks, Delilah’s acting career wasn’t her choice; her actions were being dictated by her emotionally abusive momager (Denise Gossett) who berated her for being exhausted or forgetting her lines.

There have been innumerable films titled some variation of Til Death Do Us Part, several of which are already streaming on Tubi. Writer Chris Rhetts differentiates his wedding-themed thriller by co-opting action movie tropes, wherein the protagonist, event planner Vanessa (Virginia Ma), is forced by the villain Terrance Bruckner (Maxwell Almono) to do his bidding or risk the lives of 32 wedding guests and employees.

Rhetts’ script wisely dispenses with any mystery pertaining to the culprit’s identity within the first few minutes. Following the murder of a groundskeeper in a standard cold open, Vanessa and her assistant Anthony (Luke Nieves) arrive on the groom’s secluded island to set up and almost immediately note that things aren’t as they should be.

As Vanessa’s best friend/client Rachel (Meghan Carrasquillo) arrives, Vanessa discovers boxes with her name on them with keepsakes that identify Rachel’s ex as the villain.

Writer-director Thomas J. Churchill, known for his work on The Amityville Trilogy and Big Freaking Rat, has announced his next feature film, The 3 Killer Pigs, a horror-thriller which begins shooting this month in Los Angeles. Stefan Colson whose credits include Ghosts Of Red Ridge, directs the story starring Meghan Carrasquillo from Blind Waters as a young woman seeking solitude and clarity who takes a job at a remote fire lookout tower.

Exclusive: ITN Distribution has picked up the holiday rom-com Christmas Overtime starring Meghan Carrasquillo, Adam Brudnicki, and Jadon Cal for North America.

The deal was hashed out here in Cannes. Premiere Entertainment CEO Elias Axume negotiated on behalf of the production with Stuart Alson of ITN.

The film follows an unemployed actress (Carrasquillo), who is offered a commercial by a lonely advertising executive (Brudnicki) on the condition that she convinces his staff to work on Christmas Eve to meet an important deadline.

Ann Deborah Fishman directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Simon K. Parker. Fishman produced the film for Night Dove Pictures. Also starring are Chris Moss, Christine Allocca, Laura Ault, and Osmara Rojas. Producers are Fishman and Sommer. Premiere is selling the remaining international territories at the Cannes Market, which ends today.

We told you earlier this year about Stiletto, an upcoming horror movie from director Samuel Gonzalez Jr. (The Retaliators) that’s being described as a throwback to the early slashers of the 1980s. We now have an exclusive first look at the film’s villain, “The Stiletto Killer.”

The killer’s mask was created by Jason Baker, famous for designing the mask that Ethan Hawke wore in The Black Phone, and owner of Callosum FX Studios, which is the creative brainchild of legendary special effects master Tom Savini and renowned artist and effects creator Jason Baker himself.

Baker tells Bloody Disgusting in a statement, “Creating the killer’s mask for Samuel Gonzalez Jr. & Gigi Gustin on Stiletto was an absolute blast. I personally drew so much inspiration from the script. The film is a morbidly beautiful mixture of beauty and carnage. And that was the mindset we used in the design.

The duo most recently designed the mask for Ethan Hawke’s sinister “The Grabber” in box office hit The Black Phone, which is getting a sequel from Blumhouse in Summer 2025.

Baker tells Bloody Disgusting in a statement, “Creating the killer’s mask for Samuel Gonzalez Jr. & Gigi Gustin on Stiletto was an absolute blast. I personally drew so much inspiration from the script. The film is a morbidly beautiful mixture of beauty and carnage. And that was the mindset we used in the design. Aew wrestler Stephon ‘Swerve’ Strickland has been cast in the slasher movie Stiletto, Deadline reports. Written and directed by Samuel Gonzalez Jr. (The Retaliators), the film is expected to go into production sometime within the next couple weeks.

Coming our way from Hearse Productions, Stiletto is set to star Gigi Gustin, whose credits include That’s a Wrap and the upcoming The Texas Chainsaw Massacre / The Hills Have Eyes homage Brute ’76. Meghan Carrasquillo (“What Lies Behind the Walls”) will star in the film as Berry, a woman struggling with infertility who eventually turns to adoption.
