DJ Wright is an actor and writer from Toronto, Ontario. His acting journey began when he studied drama in high school. During that time, he made his debut in a church play, took lessons at other studios, and got his first agent. After high school, he studied Acting for Film, TV, and Theatre at the Toronto Film School. While in film school, he wrote his first short film "The Fictional Woman" (which he also played the lead role in). After graduating from the program in 2018, DJ continued to act in short films, commercials, and other productions.
In the midst of acting, DJ also started a modeling career. In 2016, just three months before starting at the Toronto Film School, he made his modeling debut in a print ad for the security company "G4S". Three years later, he did his first runway show. DJ has also done photo shoots for "QS Security", the Canadian fast food franchise "Quik Chik", and the new alcoholic brand "The Rum Shack".
