Zhanna Tugay(1937-2023)

Zhanna Tugay is a Soviet and Ukrainian actress, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR.
She was born in Shpola, Kiev region. Graduated from the Kiev Theater Institute. In 1958-1959 Zhanna worked at the Lvov Theater for Young Spectators (now the First Ukrainian Theater for Children and Youth). In 1959-1965 and since 1967 she worked at the Lvov Theater of the Soviet Army (now the Lvov Academic Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka).
Zhanna Tugay acted in films in the 1970s and 1980s. She performed roles in the films Pod sozvezdiem bliznetsov (1979), Ot Buga do Visly (1981) and Karmelyuk (1985).
