In 2015, Terry joined the film community to follow her passion for film after retiring from a 30+ year career in accounting.
After moving to New Mexico in 2018, Terry joined the New Mexico Film Foundation as Executive Director. Following her 4 years as ED, she moved into the position of President for the Foundation in 2023 to continue her mission to elevate and support the film in the state.
Futschik joined actor, Brendan Fehr in the pilot, Behind The Yellow House in 2020, both as Executive Producers. The success of the partnership in producing together continued in 2021 with series pilot , Baron and Toluca which premiered at ATX spring of 2022. After seven years in the industry, Terry has produced over 10 films with her next project on the horizon in the fall of 2024.
