Lies of P fans are over the moon after the game director confirmed that the studio is actively working on a story expansion. Director Jiwon Choi announced the reveal in a lengthy post on X; however, the director did not give away any key details regarding the expansion such as the release date and what new content the upcoming Dlc will feature.

Little is known about the upcoming expansion and some fans expect it to be much shorter and smaller in scope and scale compared to other massive story expansions from other Soulslike games in recent memory like Shadow of the Erdtree. Round 8 Studio struck gold with the base game and will take the feedback from the gaming community and apply it to the upcoming story Dlc.

Director of Lies of P, Jiwon Choi, has unveiled a new teaser image and sound clip for the upcoming content to get fans into the soulslike mood. Choi first confirmed the Dlc late last year alongside the revelation of a sequel. Since then, details revolving around the Dlc have been quite sparse.

In a new post from the official Lies of P X account, Choi updates fans on the progress of the previously announced Lies of P Dlc with both an image and the surprise release of a full-length track from the Ost. The reveals came in tandem with a developer update thanking fans for their ongoing support. "For the Dlc of the Lies of P and the sequel, we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow," Choi said, although no further details were shared.
