Wes Lee, Trey Miguel and Zach Wentz were victorious in their first match together in Nxt, taking down Gallus in Six-Man Tag Team action. The speedy Rascalz kept Gallus off-balance to begin the match, but the power of Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang leveled the playing field. Out of nowhere, Vic Joseph innocuously said Joe Hendry’s name and he appeared, much to the delight of the Nxt Universe, and the Tna star joined the Nxt commentary team for the match. When the action continued, Lee used a huge stomp from the top rope to score the win.

Steve Blackman, co-creator of The Umbrella Academy, is denying allegations of “toxic, bullying, manipulative and retaliatory behavior” while serving as showrunner on the hit Netflix sci-fi drama.

The allegations by 12 former writers and support staffers on the show were detailed in a January 2023 human resources complaint, according to a report in Rolling Stone. They include a female writing team, one of whom was a new mother who returned from leave a month before her contract ended. When the writers room was extended for an additional 10 weeks to complete the season, the female writing team’s contract, according to show sources cited by Rolling Stone, was not extended.

A spokesman for Blackman told Rolling Stone, Black worked with UCP’s Hr department to ensure the women’s contracts were concluded “in full compliance with all policies and regulations,” and the decision was “solely based on performance and budget.” Blackman also denied any other allegations of retaliation.

Anthony and Kate's limited screen time in Bridgerton season 3 was frustrating. The married couple's story was poorly done and rushed, with major developments neglected. It's uncertain if Anthony and Kate will return in season 4, but Bridgerton is better with them in it.

Bridgerton season 3 revolved around the blossoming relationship between Colin and Penelope (which had been slowly building since season 1), and while Colin and Penelope's romance was well done and exciting, I couldn't help but be disappointed by Anthony and Kate's arc in the episodes. The Netflix historical romance television series is based on Julia Quinn's Bridgerton book series, with each season following one of the novels. Bridgerton season 1 brought the first book to life and depicted Daphne and Simon's love story, while season 2 was based on the second novel and followed Anthony and Kate's romance.

Powered by never-before-seen footage, performances and music, the film is billed as an experiential cinematic odyssey exploring Led Zeppelin’s creative, musical, and personal origin story. It’s told in Led Zeppelin’s own words and is the first officially sanctioned film on the group.

Elliot Page criticized Canada’s rollback of LGBTQ rights on the stage of the Juno Awards in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sunday night.

“We are at a time in history where the rights of LGBTQ2+ people are being revoked, restricted and eliminated throughout the world, and the effects are devastating,” Page, a transgender Halifax native, said in a speech presenting twin singer-songwriters Tegan and Sara with the Junos’ humanitarian award. Page praised the work of the Tegan and Sara Foundation for 2Slgbtq+ youth, supporting health care services to youth programs. Elliot Page came to the Junos Awards on Sunday night to denounce a rollback of LGBTQ2+ rights after the Umbrella Academy star came out as transgender and nonbinary at the end of 2020.

“We are at a time in history where the rights of LGBTQ2+ people are being revoked, restricted and eliminated throughout the world, and the effects are devastating,” Page said when citing the work by the Tegan and Sara Foundation to support and build social change for trans and queer youth at the Junos in his hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

“If the world was not so hostile to LGBTQ2+ people, we would see ourselves purely as musicians,” Sara Quin, one half of the Canadian indie pop musicians Tegan and Sara, told the Juno audience. Grant Page, the Australian stunt icon who performed in and coordinating stunts for the original Mad Max, sequel Beyond Thunderdome, the upcoming prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and more than 100 other films and TV series, died Thursday in a car crash. He was 85.

His son, Leroy Page, told Daily Mail Australia that his father hit a tree while he was driving near his home in Kendall, New South Wales. “He died in very high spirits, and he was very motivated,” the younger Page told the paper. “He was very happy.”

On Thursday, Elliot Page brought the European premiere of Close to You to BFI Flare, the London Lgbtqia+ film festival, in a special presentation. Grant Page, Australia’s most legendary movie stuntman, has passed away age 85. He had a literal and metaphorical explosive impact on our national cinema, his legacy forged in the fires of the Ozploitation movement, his spectacular oeuvre written in tyre streaks and burn marks. If you’ve ever seen somebody in an Ozploitation movie running around on fire or hurtling themselves off a bridge, there’s a good chance it was him.

The most famous film Page worked on – as lead stuntman and stunt coordinator – was 1979’s Mad Max. He performed several of the film’s legendary stunts and, during production, collided with a large semi trailer while riding a motorbike. He ended up in hospital with its leading lady, both of them suffering broken femurs and multiple fractures.

If you want to see a wild midnight movie, there’s a little-known Australian movie called Stunt Rock, which might blow your mind. In it, an Australian stuntman named Grant Page (playing himself) visits Los Angeles to do stunts for a TV show and hooks up with a heavy metal band named Sorcery (the band is like Kiss if they also did magic). Elliot Page heads to the U.K on Thursday to open the BFI Flare, London’s Lgbtqia+ film festival, for the European premiere of “Close to You.”

Written and directed by Dominic Savage (behind the recent acclaimed “I Am…” anthology series that has starred the likes of Kate Winslet and Letitia Wright), the film — which bowed in Toronto — marks Page’s first feature since 2017. It’s a return to the big screen he says “felt amazing,” allowing him to experience the “joy of what it means to get to create and being creative.”

It was also an acting experience unlike anything Page had undertaken before, with much of “Close to You” improvised. Savage claims that the lack of scripted dialogue made the on-screen interactions appear “as natural as possible,” although Page admits it was, at least initially, “terrifying.”

Regé-Jean Page is pulling another role out of the bag. The Bridgerton breakout will star in Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Focus Features acquired the project last month, after The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that the filmmaker was shopping the package with Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender attached to star. Jurassic Park scribe David Koepp penned the script, which is described a a spy thriller.

Page became a globally known star thanks to Netflix’s Bridgerton, where he played heartthrob Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings. He opted not to return for season two, and the actor has since moved on to a big screen career, starring in Paramount’s Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and signing on to star in a reboot of The Saint for the studio. He also appeared in the Russo Bros. action movie The Gray Man for Netflix.

They began with a collar and elbow tie up. Page backed Penta into the ropes and then allowed for a clean break. It quickly escalated as both men brought heavy shots, blistering one another with chops. Penta connected with a thrust kick, but Page returned with a big boot of his own. Penta El Zero Miedo wiped out Hangman Page with a Sling Blade. Hangman retaliated with a fallaway slam and then a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Penta El Zero Miedo hit a leg drop from off the bottom rope for a two-count on Page.

Killing Joke guitarist Kevin “Geordie” Walker has died at the age of 64.

Martin Adkins, Walker’s former Killing Joke bandmate, announced his passing on social media. He died after suffering a stroke.

Killing Joke later confirmed Walker’s death on Facebook, stating, “It is with extreme sadness we confirm that at 6:30am on 26th November 2023 in Prague, Killing Joke’s legendary guitarist Kevin “Geordie” Walker passed away after suffering a stroke, he was surrounded by family. We are devastated. Rest In Peace brother.”

Walker was a founding member of the UK post-punk band Killing Joke, alongside frontman Jaz Coleman, bassist/keyboardist Martin “Youth” Glover, and drummer Paul Ferguson. He remained a member of the band until his passing.

Before the pandemic, it was announced that “The Saint” was getting a reboot with Dexter Fletcher attached to direct and Chris Pine set to star. The film was stalled, and in 2021, both of those guys left and actor Regé-Jean Page came aboard to star. Since then, we haven’t really gotten much news about it. But more than two years after Page’s first involvement, we finally have a director for the upcoming action film.

It’s been a hot minute since we heard an update about an upcoming remake of The Saint starring Regé-Jean Page. Still, Deadline is here to blow the dust off this project with word that Doug Liman is officially directing The Saint remake. In addition to his starring role, Page will executive produce with Lorenzo Dibonaventura, Brad Krevoy, and the late Robert Evans.

Plot details for The Saint remake remain a mystery. However, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani are working on the script. The Saint is based on the 1920s book series that follows Simon Templar, also known as The Saint. Often described as a Robin Hood-like criminal and thief for hire, Simon can usually be found traveling the globe and looking for adventure. As I said, plot details on the new project are confidential at this time, though sources indicate that the team is working around the clock to reimagine the character.

Paramount has signed “The Bourne Identity” filmmaker Doug Liman to direct the upcoming crime thriller “The Saint,” which will star Regé-Jean Page in a new imagining of the 1920s book series created by Leslie Charteris.

“The Saint” takes its name from the nickname of its protagonist, Simon Templar, a thief for hire who travels around the world serving as a modern day Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and protecting the powerless.

Charteris’ novels were adapted into a hit British 1960s TV series that became Roger Moore’s biggest claim to fame before he became James Bond. Paramount also adapted the books into a 1997 film starring Val Kilmer.
