Taylor Coombes, was a child actor working in Film and Theatre, began his teaching and acting career as a workshop facilitator and T.I.E educator; touring the UK delivering live changing plays with a theatre company 'Peer Productions'.
This sparked his love for teaching,years later he continued his journey in education by attending Kingston University. At University he specialised in Devising, Shakespeare, Comedy and Community Theatre Practice.
After University he worked the fringe circuit performing as the fool in many Shakespearean productions for Director Jay Skelton's ( now a resident lecturer at Central School of Speech and Drama), PHD thesis, he then continued back into education to obtain a PGCE in post compulsary education.
Taylor Coombes continues to grow his skill set training with The British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, British Academy of Dramatic Combat and I'd Fights to become a special action actor. He even transferred this to his teaching by running a stage combat club at school, which was highly sought after, bringing drama and his love for Shakespeare to school in an unique way.
His career has bounced from performer to educator and back again many times over. However, his main focus now is to continue his career in the Film and TV industry, whilst continuing to be a role model to the students he teaches, by staying on the path he chose when he was 13 years old.
