Valarie Sukovaty

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Valarie began her career as a TV journalist in Colorado, Maine, and Oklahoma, reporting on everything from politics to crime for 10 years. She moved to Los Angeles in 2001 where she was a producer for E! Entertainment from 2002-2005. Her career path took an unexpected turn when the Disneyland Resort offered her a job as a Public Relations Director in 2005. She made magic at the Happiest Place on Earth for 11 years, writing and producing feature videos, managing press events, and "flying" turkeys from the White House to Disneyland. Having a passion for storytelling since she was a child, she left in 2016 to launch her own freelance business as a video producer and screenwriting. As of 2021, she has written two TV pilots (drama), two features, and two specs (one drama and one comedy).
