Catalina Garayoa

Catalina Garayoa is a first generation American actress living in Los Angeles, California. Her parents immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico and Chile in the early 90's in the hopes of a better life. Catalina is bilingual in Spanish and English and prides herself for her roots. She is most known for her role of Rebecca in The Social Dilemma directed by Jeff Orlowski which premiered on Netflix on September 2020. She recently worked on a horror thesis film for the American Film Institute, Nahual directed by Jacob Holmquist- Franco where she plays the role of a carefree artist and older sister who is trying to fight off the mysterious creature inside her conscience. She also recently collaborated on two short films Embers and Drowning directed by Bruce Tetsuya and Jacob Glazier during the pandemic which both premiered at the Denver Film Festival. One of her favorite projects was a lead role in a short film created by a non profit organization called SAFE Rockies, directed by John DeYoung which helped bring awareness to the sex trafficking situation in Denver. She has been performing since the young age of eight. She got her bachelors in Performing Arts (Theatre) at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 and continues to work and learn more about the industry. Catalina is a dedicated and passionate artist who strives to bring her best self in all her work.
