Clara Riedenstein

Clara Riedenstein is an Austrian-Portuguese actor based in the UK. Fluent in German, English, French and Portuguese, Clara began her acting career as a lead in João Nicolau's John From. She went on to pursue various parts with Portuguese and international directors, including as the protagonist in Rita Azevedo Gomes' The Portuguese Woman, which premiered at the Berlinale.

After completing her studies at Oxford University and the Sorbonne, Clara returned to filming as the protagonist in Nicolau's upcoming feature film Providence and the Guitar.
