Began her career as a writer and director in 2013. Since then, her short films have been officially selected at international film festivals.
In March 2020, she was honored with the state award "Esa Chica Buen Rollo" in the category of "Creativity that Humanizes," recognizing women who transform society.
Also in 2020, she received the county youth award for her trajectory in filmmaking, her contributions to the local cinematic community, and the social impact of her films.
In 2021, production began on her feature-length documentary, "Violenta." This experimental film addresses the pervasive issue of violence in Mexico, exploring how it has become normalized in everyday life. Through poignant testimonies from victims, the film delves into the deep-rooted cultural and social factors that perpetuate this dark reality.
Since 2023, "Violenta" has been making waves on the festival circuit, garnering the Audience Award and Honorable Mention from the jury at the 11th edition of the International Festival of Non-Fiction Narratives, Doqumenta. To date, it has screened in over 15 states across Mexico through theatrical and streaming events.
