Born in Huntington, West Virginia, US, Griffin Andrew McElroy is an American podcaster, actor, writer, composer, and former video game journalist, best known for My Brother, My Brother and Me (2010) and The Adventure Zone (2014). He was born in 1987 as the youngest child of radio host Clint McElroy and his wife Leslie, he has two older brothers, Justin and Travis. From 2007 he worked as a journalist at Joystiq and in 2008 he covered the US presidential election for MTV as a local journalist. In 2010, the McElroy brothers started their highly popular comedy advice podcast My Brother, My Brother and Me. In 2012, Griffin and Justin McElroy along with Christopher Grant founded Polygon and two years later the three brothers and their father started a Dungeons and Dragons actual play podcast The Adventure Zone. Since 2017, he's also been co-hosting Wonderful!, a podcast in which he and his wife Rachel talk about things they enjoy. In 2018 he quit his job at Polygon to focus on his podcasting career and his family life, although he also voice acts in animated productions from time to time. He's been married to Rachel McElroy since 2013, they have two children, Henry McElroy and August Clinton McElroy.
