Briana Kay Mittan

I'm a New York-based professional working in the post industry. Ten years ago I started my career in print and photojournalism which eventually led me to documentary filmmaking and podcast production. Throughout this journey, I've worked on projects for directors like Alex Gibney, Sam Pollard, and Amy Schumer to name a few. Whether I'm working as an assistant editor, podcast producer, or re-recording mixer I approach each project as an opportunity to inspire my team in unexpected ways. The essence of what I do is I help to tell meaningful stories. When I'm not mixing audio you will find me in my garden battling aphids and giving treats to the feral neighborhood cat. My personal philosophy is to be a better person than I was yesterday and to help build up the next generation.
