Ryan Clay was born in San Diego, California. During the 1980's, his family owned a number of renowned barbecue restaurants in the San Diego area called Clay's Texas Pit BBQ. As a child, Ryan would entertain guests while he served food and bussed tables. In 1992, Ryan and his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to expand the restaurant business. He wrestled for Eldorado High School during his Freshman year and became a two-time DECA state champion prior to graduating with Distinguished Honors in 1999. He accepted a full-ride scholarship to UNLV and majored in Hotel Administration. He has worked as a snack bar attendant, automotive service writer, pizza delivery driver, nightclub security guard, secret shopper, and had a career in Law Enforcement for over 10 years.
Ryan is more known for his role as a Professional Wrestler -- using the stage name, Leon Hater. He has wrestled for Ultimate Wrestling Federation (UWF), Vegas Championship Wrestling (VCW), Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW), Power Precision Pro Wrestling (3PW) and Big Valley Wrestling (BVW) in Las Vegas, Lucha Libre POR and FSW-Arizona in Phoenix, and Ultra Championship Wrestling (UCW) in Salt Lake City. He has held the VCW Silver State Championship, FSW Tag Team Championship, and BVW Tag Team Championship.
Ryan continues to extend his reach into film and television by bringing the Leon Hater persona to Lingerie Fighting Championships, where he has been a Head Coach -- both on and off the screen..
