Rachel F. Betts is a Film Director, United States Navy Veteran, and Founder of the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, DTAIBAI Inc. (Don't Talk About It Be About It), which is purposed to help at-risk youth and those in need across the globe. She is a 2-time graduate of Full Sail University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts and her Master of Fine Art in Film.
Rachel has directed several short films including but not limited to, her 2-time Award-Winning Documentary film "Mr. Windy", which has been selected into over 20 film festivals, globally. "Mr. Windy" is a documentary based on the true life story of a homeless Christian college student who lived in his car while earning not one, but two entertainment college degrees. The film won in two categories: Best Director and Best Christian Film, plus it received the Spiritual Award for inspiring audiences.
When her schedule allows, you will find Rachel mentoring aspiring filmmakers. But her most important role of all has been, is, and continues to be serving God.
