Unnur Eggertsdóttir (Una for short) was born in Reykjavík, Iceland and has been living in NY & LA for the past 6 years. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, receiving the Charles Jehlinger award for Best Actress upon graduating.
Her most recent credits include Eurovision: The Story of Fire Saga (Netflix), singing with the LA Philharmonic (Walt Disney Concert Hall), and Systrabönd (NBCUniversal). Her music can be heard in Broadchurch (BBC & Netflix) and Velvet Buzzsaw (Netflix).
Una is the co-founder of the creative school Skýið in Iceland, and co-hosts the popular podcast Fantasíusvítan.
She has been active in political work and will serve as Campaign Manager for Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir in the election of 2021 in Iceland.
