Romeo Ortiz

Romeo Ortiz is a Graduate from the first film based High school in the United States, The Cinema School (TCS) and alumni at The Ghetto Film School (GFS). Romeo was Born on October 25th in Queens, NY. The Beginning of Romeo's film career started back in 2012 when he joined TCS. From there, he studied the art of filmmaking from all aspects which included writing and directing. It wasn't until 4 years later in Romeo's senior year that he started putting his skills to test. Romeo then joined The Ghetto Film School (GFS) where he got rigorous training for 8 months and later his knowledge was extended even further in the art of filmmaking industry. Here at The Ghetto Film School is where Romeo took his first step into having a career in film with Romeo writing the 2016 GFS Thesis project, Genesis which was shot in London and was screened at the Paley Center For Media the following year. After Genesis, Romeo developed MAD Gothic Productions with the goal of giving other new filmmakers a chance to work on a film set, learn and jump into positions so that they can build their reel while having fun doing so.
