Ramirez was born Peter Christopher Ramirez II on August 16th, 1994, in Monterey, California, and was raised in a small farm town in the Salinas Valley called Castroville, California. He is the son of Pete, a recreational facility manager, and Aida Ramirez, a high school principal. He has an older sister, Natalie Ramirez. He is of Mexican American descent. Ramirez was home schooled along with his sister Natalie by his mother until he was twelve years old. He attend a traditional school as an 8th grader. He first became interested in acting after watching the movie A Knight's Tale when he was six years old, and his interest grew when he performed in an eighth grade play and played Dopey of the Seven Dwarfs and the Frog in The Frog Prince. At Palma High School, Ramirez was involved in sports; football, wrestling and track & field. When he was 18, he attended a beginning acting class at San Jose State University taught by Sarah Kate Anderson. During this time he was inspired and made a commitment to study acting in a drama school after watching a performance by James Dean in the movie Rebel Without a Cause. Upon graduating from college, he moved to San Francisco to study acting and was accepted into The Meisner Technique Studio to undertake his 2-year Meisner Training taught by Jim Jarrett and Melissa Thompson Esaia. During this time, Ramirez supported himself by working as a waiter at Wahlburgers, a manager at a boxing gym and a driver for Door Dash. He graduated in December 2018 and within 3 months was cast in his first SAG role earning eligibility.
Ramirez has always admired Brad Pitt, for his craftsmanship as a character actor and his ability to produce unique films. He has also has great admiration for Mark Wahlburg, who's humble origins and relentless work ethic inspired him to believe that he too could make it all the way to Hollywood.
