Steve Avalon Gardner

Steve Avalon Gardner was born in 1976 and got his taste in filmmaking seven years later with the help of his older brother Doug and his younger brother Phil. With the cost of super eight being a little more than what they could afford, their short films were made few and far between. When he reached high school he took still photography and creative writing, furthering his love of film. The following years after school he worked as a projectionist in many film festivals as well as ran dailies on feature film projects. With the support of his wife Natasha and four children, they encouraged him to follow his passion and go back to film school where he began writing, shooting and editing multiple short films in between working on features.
