Juliane Dressner is a director, producer and cinematographer who makes character based films that explore economic and racial justice issues. Her film, The Scars of Stop-and-Frisk, was part of an Emmy-winning season of the Op-Docs series published by The New York Times. She won the National Magazine Award for video for her film, An Education, which was published by The New York Times Magazine. She has also had films published by The Guardian, The Atlantic, New York magazine and Buzzfeed. Her feature-length film, Personal Statement, was broadcast on PBS and nominated for an Emmy.
