Manuel Rivas(X)

Born Manuel Antonio Rivas, in Los Angeles, California. Manuel first took interest in graphic design, and web development before turn to music. After spending the majority of his 20s living in the bustling, but exhilarating empire city of New York, Manuel developed an interest in sound engineering from the many fashion designers, artists, photographers and music video directors he encountered. He decided to take his interest in sound seriously upon moving back to LA, enrolling in the Los Angeles Recording School and obtaining his associates degree in audio engineering. It was during his time at the LARS, that his passion for sound design and editing was fully realized and enrolled at the LA Film School, to pursue a degree in Film. Manuel's sprawling interest in all things sound has driven him to work on editing and designing audio for various independent films, social media ads for start up businesses, recording material for KRXM Radio, and hopes to one day fully immerse himself within the field of VR Sound as a field recordist, designer, editor and mixer.
