Brian Armand is a Music Composer and Sound Designer specializing in original custom music scoring and sound design for TV/film and theme park. Brian's first Hollywood film credit was on the 2015 movie, The Better Half (2015)
Since his first Hollywood film credit, Brian has gone on to compose film scores for other Hollywood films. Brian has also worked on, and provided visual FX for several films as well.
From an early age, Brian's interest in music led him to start focusing on many different aspects of music. At the age of 6, he always had a microphone and tape recorder in hand, ready to record anything and everything. Saxophone was Brian's first instrument to play in the 4th grade at school, however it was years later, at the age of 15, when one of Brian's early endeavor's led him to pursue the piano as an instrument of choice. Classically trained, he then performed in 3 concert recitals. At age 16, Brian attended a technical broadcasting school which taught him "on air" broadcasting skills in radio and TV, both in the classroom and in labs that would certify Brian with the knowledge of an on air personality.
After completing broadcasting school, he graduated with a diploma, the youngest in his class. Around the same time, Brian made his first student film in high school, writing the full script, seeking out actor's, as well as filming, directing, and editing the entire 1 hour production. While still in high school, Brian took up theater classes, studied acting, and performed in a couple of theater class productions. Brian also took video production classes around the same time. After graduating from high school, Brian became an intern at a public access TV station, and took an 8 week course on how to use the TV stations equipment, helping guide and produce other shows/productions at the station.
Years later, he interned and worked in the Radio Promotions Department at one of the top well known radio stations in his hometown, working on location remotes for celebrity appearances.
With a firm interest in film production, Brian went on to write, film, direct, and edit some of his own personal independent film shorts.
In the early 1990's, Brian was accepted to Columbia College in Hollywood, Los Angeles, however, later within the same year, Brian went on to attend a film program, after being accepted to Full Sail University in Florida. From that point, Brian's next job was theater production where he worked at a couple of different venues, along side many top name acts performing at the theater. Brian worked in local theater, and out of state in the Entertainment Department at Busch Gardens, where he was hired on as Sound Engineer and Show Control for the theater production, "Irish Thunder" (A Riverdance spin-off with a cast from Ireland, with some performers from the original Riverdance, and many who would eventually go on to perform in Riverdance, and Lord Of The Dance).
Brian works under the name "Theme Way Creative", originally starting as a mock up entity that produces TV/film scores, trailers, and sound design both classical and modern-hybrid in nature, for TV, film, and theme park.
