Alicia Louzoun-Heisler is a playwright and filmmaker. A story editor on the Audible series "Beach Road", Alicia holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch, where she was awarded the 2021 Goldberg Play Prize for her play "Bashert." Alicia has been recognized by Athena Film Festival's 2021 Writers Lab and the Uprise Grant at Sundance Film Institute. She won the Elizabeth Cuthrell Prize for Best Screenplay at Fusion Film Festival and has been a finalist for the Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Award and the Chinonye Chukwu Emerging Writer Award. Alicia has been an Artist-in-Residence at the Catwalk Institute, and her experimental short films have been screened at St. Louis International Film Festival and other venues across the country.
