The Year in Pictures

Nada Djordjevich grew up in California. She made her live action debut with "Eat Surf Love," a romantic comedy short, set in San Francisco. Her animated short film, "California Pie" premiered at the Sonoma International Film Festival in 2023, and won awards at the City Film Festival in Stockholm, Sweden and the Oregon Short Festival. She received honors and recognition for her short fiction and co-founded the online magazine, On the Page. As a social impact consultant, she produced public service announcements, and raised over 37 million to expand and improve educational opportunities, including arts and environmental education in Bay Area public schools. She has degrees from Harvard University and UC Berkeley, and attended screenwriting courses at UCLA.
