Biography

Dakota James Taylor is a Writer and Director. Most notably, his short film Probie participated at the 72nd Festival de Cannes Short Film Corner. Probie took home Best Director and a Jury Award at Campus Movie Fest Indiana University. It moved on and was nominated for Best Director and Best Drama at the Terminus Festival and Conference in 2018, qualifying Probie for the Cannes SFC, and Amazon Prime. Since then Dakota has produced shorts and music videos for artists like Cameron Dallas and Clayton Anderson. Dakota made his mark at the 2018 Producers Guild of America weekend shorts competition where his film was a finalist and judged by 10 celebrity judges.
