Born in the Philippines and raised in Guam, Alfretz moved to New York City to study acting at The New York Film Academy and The Acting Studio. Over the course of ten years, he immersed himself in the New York theater scene, balancing classes, auditions, and Off-Broadway shows while working numerous hotel jobs to support himself. Watching "Crazy Rich Asians" on the big screen inspired him to take a leap and relocate to Los Angeles, feeling it was the right time to pursue his acting career on the West Coast.
Alfretz is often cast as "The Filipino Everyman," with notable appearances in popular shows like "CSI: Vegas," "Station 19," and "Made for Love." He recently shared insights into his acting process on "The Rehearsal" and guest-starred in "In the Shadows" as 'The Fixer to the Manila Underground.'
