Jess Taylor is an American producer, director, and writer. She is known for writing and directing the short film Lifelines (2023), and producing Caesura (2020) and Help Me (2021). Born and raised in Southern California, she was a dancer and wrestler for seven years before attending film school. Raised in a religiously conservative household and disallowed from watching movies, she pursued her dream vocation since middle school by reading awards-season screenplays and books about filmmaking from three county libraries. She remains an avid reader and dancer.
