Directed by Zoya Akhtar (Gully Boy) and based on the Archie Comics, The Archies follows the lives of Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, and Betty Cooper, who live in an Anglo-Indian hill station in 1964 Riverdale, India. Unlike the popular Netflix series (which is full of wild and dark storylines), the teaser shows that the movie will be a lot more grounded and upbeat, with the plot focusing more on "rock n’ roll," and "love and heartbreaks."
