Abbie Allen is a Writer/Producer from Nuneaton, Warwickshire with Asperger Syndrome. She studied BA Scriptwriting at University of South Wales, Cardiff, graduating in 2017. Abbie tries to make as many projects as she can along the themes of self-identity, self-confidence and empowering disabilities, no matter the genre or medium.
She was the Writer, co-Producer, Art Department and Camera Operator on her first short film "Anything", which was nominated for Best Short Film at the Birmingham Film Festival 2018. Abbie was a Production Manager on her first feature film "A Kidnap" with award winning Writer/Director/Producer Lee Greenhough. Her second short film "Sensory Minefield" on the experience of having a sensory overload, was nominated for Best Micro Short at the Birmingham Film Festival 2019.
