The Bachelor franchise certainly likes to bring back past contestants for different seasons and spinoffs, and new Bachelorette Clare Crawley is definitely one of those. Her appearance on The Bacheloretteis actually her fifth time on one of the franchise's shows. Here's a brief recap of Clare's history on all the Bachelor shows to date.
The Bachelor
Clare made her debut in 2014, when she was a contestant on Juan Pablo Galavis's season of The Bachelor. She made a big impression, and, in fact, she made it all the way to the finale, where she and Nikki Ferrell were the last two women competing for Juan Pablo's heart. In the end, though, he didn't choose her as the winner, choosing Nikki instead. Upon learning this news, Clare refused a "comforting" goodbye hug from Juan Pablo, instead calling him out, apparently over something he'd said to her that viewers never got to hear.

Though American audiences didn't meet Benoît Beauséjour-Savard until his stay on The Bachelor Winter Games, they fell in love pretty quickly. On the show, he started a relationship with Clare Crawley — only to have it broken off when she decided to pursue a relationship with Juan Pablo 2.0 (aka Christian Rauch) instead. But while he didn't have Clare, Benoît did have plenty of Bachelor Nation fans rooting for him — and campaigning to bring the Canadian across the border to hand out roses. "Petition to make Benoît our next Bachelor," one fan tweeted. "I don’t even care that he’s not from America... if Kaitlyn [Bristowe] could be our Bachelorette we can have Benoît." Another added, "Arie is canceled. Benoît for Bachelor." Though that hope was briefly dashed when Benoît and Clare got engaged at the Winter Games "World Tells All" special, it was reignited after their breakup. And though he hasn't...

Another one bites the snow. Clare Crawley and Benoit Beauséjour-Savard have sadly called off their engagement. The split comes just two months after the Canadian cutie popped the question on the Bachelor Winter Games: World Tell All special. Clare, 36, and Benoit, 31, shared the heatbreaking news on their respective Instagram pages, along with a photo of their feet. "We understand A lot of you have been asking about our relationship since the show, and we wanted to thank you all for the love and respect as we navigated it in real life off camera. We do understand however, having a public engagement on TV kind of changes that. It's with a heavy heart that we have mutually decided to end our relationship," they wrote. "We think the world of eachother, and we were both hoping we could make this work. I'm sorry that this may not be what you want to hear,...

Clare Crawley just took home silver at The Bachelor Winter Games — with her ring, that is. Benoit Beauséjour-Savard popped the question (in French!) and proposed with a blinding Neil Lane engagement ring during the World Tells All special. So how did the gorgeous oval-shaped diamond come to be? The jeweler opened up to People all about the entire design process.
As the go-to designer for Bachelor Nation proposals, Lane typically spends time with the fiancé-to-be to create a ring perfectly suited for the couple. But this time the process was a bit different.

Fourth time’s the charm for Bachelor Nation’s Clare Crawley — she’s engaged!
During The Bachelor Winter Games: World Tells All special on Thursday night, Canada native Benoit Beauséjour-Savard got down on one knee to pop the question in French, and she said, “Yes!”
“It’s overwhelming, it’s crazy,” Crawley tells People of the surprise engagement. “Going on these Bachelor shows is a huge risk and you don’t know the outcome. It’s scary, but it’s a risk that you have to take to get the good in the end.”
“I dind’t expect this,” Beauséjour-Savard adds.

Despite having two guys interested in her, Clare Crawley didn’t have the best luck finding love on Bachelor Winter Games — but it all worked out in the end.
In a clip from Thursday’s reunion show, Crawley tells Chris Harrison that even though things didn’t work out with Benoit Beauséjour-Savard or Christian Rauch during the series, she found love as soon as she left Vermont and headed back home.
“The second I got back to Sacramento, checked my phone and I had a message from a guy,” she says, before taking a second to gather her thoughts.
