Toyosi Ige is a UK-based filmmaker. Despite holding Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering, Toyosi decided to become a full time filmmaker after studying filmmaking at the prestigious PEFTI Film Academy in Lagos Nigeria where he graduated with a distinction. He is skilled as a Screenwriter, Playwright, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Choreographer and Producer. His Filmography includes Short films like Oiza's Nexus, Help!, Bad market, 'Helen's Story', 'Ireti's Volition', 'My Oga na Tailor' and 'The Palmist'. Also armed with experience in Music video production, his style is recognizable by his unique style of storytelling, use of visual metaphors and African cultural input with a strong Christian theme. In 2022, his film, Oiza's Nexus won the Best Nigerian Short film award at the Eko International Film festival. Toyosi is the founder and creative director of Rayhouse Studios, a film production company. He is presently a Masters in Film and Screen student at the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
