Caleb Minson
- Actor
Caleb Minson is a multi-talented filmmaker, musician, and writer with a passion for storytelling across various mediums. Born in Freeport, Illinois, and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Caleb discovered his love for the arts at an early age. By the age of five, he was already playing drums, and by ten, he had expanded his musical repertoire to include the saxophone, trumpet, and bass guitar, performing regularly in his church band.
Caleb's artistic journey took a significant turn during his teenage years when a young Yugoslavian artist, Sinasha Petrovich, inspired him to start drawing. This early influence ignited a lifelong passion for visual storytelling, which he later refined through studies in Digital Media Production at the New England Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Film and Video from Full Sail University.
Before fully immersing himself in the creative world, Caleb served as a sonar technician on a submarine in the U.S. Navy and later as a Navy recruiter, where he received several awards, including National Reserve Recruiter of the Year. These experiences taught him discipline and perseverance, qualities that he now brings to his filmmaking projects.
In addition to his work in film, Caleb is an accomplished poet and songwriter, exploring themes of faith, resilience, and the human experience in his writing. He is also the founder of Rustic Lens Cinema, where he produces narrative films that reflect his unique vision and dedication to the craft of storytelling.
