Josh Bevan(II)

Josh Bevan is a filmmaker, programmer, and writer. His stories are filled with future histories centered on the vibrant phenomena of virtuality, echo and dissimulation, human ferociousness, and mythologies of intelligence explosions and the deep future. His latest writing involves themes of death, high dimensional attractors, and punk queerness and sexuality in contemporary online VR communities. Studying at the Media Arts and Technology Masters/PhD program at UCSB, Josh learned to reason technically about cutting edge Machine Learning networks, which inspired his tech-art works that dive into the pseudo-mystical, psychoactive provocations of machine hallucinations.
