Ilgaz Küren

Ilgaz Kuren is an impassioned artist and filmmaker, deeply engaged in a spectrum of roles including acting, directing, script-writing, and editing. Her academic foundations were laid at the French High School Saint Joseph in Istanbul, after which she furthered her studies in France. At La Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, she immersed herself in critical theory and film philosophy, paralleling these studies with practical training in acting at Acting International, Paris.

Her work as an assistant director on the Turkish TV show "Icerde" in 2017 is a highlight of Ilgaz's professional career. This role underscored her capability to manage complex production tasks and contribute creatively to major projects. She is also a skilled business development professional, armed with a bachelor's degree focused on cinematography and film/video production from Bahcesehir University.

Additionally, Ilgaz has demonstrated linguistic prowess as an on-air interpreter on the show "Hakan Bey," providing seamless Turkish translations for French football legend Pascal Nouma. With the onset of the global quarantine, she pivoted towards script-writing, dedicating herself to the creation of science fiction series that explore futuristic and complex themes.

In 2023, Ilgaz relocated to San Francisco, a move that reflects her ongoing pursuit of growth and innovation in her career.
