Welcome to this week’s review of Impact Wrestling, which is the very special Multiverse Untied show, featuring Impact going head to head with New Japan Pro Wrestling! The show opened with a “Countdown” match that saw Yuya Uemura defeat Gabriel Kidd. With that out the way, let’s get into the review…

Match #1: Scramble Match for the X-Division Championship – Trey Miguel def. Rich Swann, Kevin Knight, Frankie Kazarian, Clark Connors & Rocky Romero The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Everyone attacks Miguel at the opening bell as he’s thrown to the outside. Swann hits a rolling splash on Connors, followed by a twisting Frog Splash from Knight. Welcome to this week’s review of Impact Wrestling, which this week opens with a Before the Impact match that saw Brian Myers defeat Jack Price. Let’s get into the review…

Match #1: Miyu Yamashita def. Killer Kelly The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

It’s time for the first never-before-seen matchup of the night as Miyu Yamashita makes her Impact in-ring debut. Yamashita hits a pinpoint kick, knocking Kelly off her feet in the early going. Yamashita puts her submission game on display but Kelly rolls her up for two. Kelly delivers a series of headbutts, followed by a butterfly suplex into the turnbuckles. Kelly connects with a delayed running dropkick in the corner. Moments later, both Knockouts are down following a bicycle kick from Kelly. The fight spills to the floor where Yamashita hits a step-up kick. Kelly regains control by dropping her face-first on the apron.

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week once again features Taz and Excalibur, out commentators for Dark as usual, but a Very different type of presentation than we’ve seen from Aew’s YouTube shows – with two matches filmed overseas, one in Tokyo and one here in Blighty, in Sheffield of all places and the rest of the card emanating from Aew Universal in Florida! Let’s see what this new style of show brings to Dark…

Match #1: Aew Women’s World Championship Eliminator – Miyu Yamashita def. Thunder Rosa

My Thoughts: Easily the best match Thunder Rosa has had in Aew in some time, this one looked like an actual wrestling match rather than a brawl or fight like some of Rosa’s other Aew matches. Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation which has a short run time and a four-match card. I could honestly get used to these shorter shows! On commentary this week we have Paul Wight, Mark Henry And Tony Schiavone. Let’s get right into the action, which comes from the Kia Forum (aka The Forum) in Los Angeles, California.

Match #1: The Factory def. Dark Order

My Thoughts: This was a good, but not great, match. The kind of match you can watch without really paying attention to it and still know exactly what’s going on. Can’t believe Dark Order lost to The factory though, it looks like the faction are back to losing match after match, week after week. Do we need an injection of new blood into Dark Order? Probably.
