Nada Tawhid, an Egyptian actress born and raised in Saudi Arabia, has a diverse background, having also lived in the UAE and Bahrain. Her multifaceted identity makes her uniquely versatile both on and off-screen. She initially started studying international relations at the American University of Sharjah. However, she switched majors to multimedia studies, aligning her education with her career in the film industry.
Tawhid kicked off her acting career with the short film Hair: Story of Grass (2018), which participated in several film festivals across the USA and Europe. Her repertoire expanded with roles in prominent productions such as the Netflix limited series, Whispers (2020), and the MBC soap opera, Al-Merath (2020-2021), where she starred in 250 episodes. Nada's acting portfolio further includes diverse genres; notable titles include Al Shabah (2021), an action drama film, Safar Barlek (2023) a historical epic drama, among others.
Her most recent work involves the historical epic drama, shot in Morocco, Al Waa'd (The Promise) (2024 - ), a 3-season pan-Arab series based on the Hilali Epic. Nada's character, Zomaj, will appear in seasons 2 and 3, set to be released on Starzplay.
