Born February 7th, 1965 In Heidelberg, Germany as Alexander Gaefe. Artist name between 2000 and 2014 Alexander MacG. Moved with his mother and younger sister at the age of 11 to Hamburg, Germany.
Black&white laboratory in the basement of the grandparents and first photo exhibition with 15 in Hamburg.
Apprenticeship as orthopedic shoemaker.
Photo assistant of well-known photographers like F.C.Gundlach and B.Weber in the 80s. Then independent photographer until the end of the 80s.
At the beginning of the 90s, TV-producer at various advertising agencies (including Lintas Hamburg). 1992 Development of the first interactive television broadcast shows, as well as interactive TV test areas in Cambridge UK, Munich and Hamburg. 1994 Founder of Multiversum Media Lab (Bank24, LH CityCenter released on the Internet, Freeport as the first virtual city). From 1998 production of well-known music videos and 1999 founding of 702 Media in Berlin with participation of Das Werk AG. 2000 Development of the first media-convergent series called Stahlborn with Esther Schweins as main cast (implementation failed because of Das Werk AG and Leo Kirch insolvency).
Retreat to Madrid and the media from 2002 to 2007.
Since 2007 back in Lower Saxony, Germany. Comeback in the Mediaindustry 2017 with conception and production of new web/app TV-series, documentaries and completely new cross-media content for all devices like smartphones, tablets, watches, glasses...
