Mayur Patankar is a cinematographer from India based in LA. He started his career as a sports photographer and a videographer in India. His love for films and narrative storytelling got him to LA where he trained as a cinematographer under the supervision of Anthony B. Richmond (ASC, BSC), Jacek Laskus (ASC,PSC), Suki Medencevic (ASC) and Pascal Lebègue. Mayur has experience in Music Videos, commercials and Motion pictures. Mayur's inspiration comes from Global Cinema, Nature as well as classical artists like Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Monet, Vermeer, Van Gogh and many more. Mayur's goal is to combine modern cinematography techniques along with the classical art of visual storytelling to create a unique and balanced visual story.
