Genevieve Potgieter

Genevieve Dominique Potgieter (b. November 21 1994) is a South African fashion model, fashion photographer and fashion designer who graduated from the AAA School of Advertising (Cape-Town, South Africa) with a BA Degree in Brand communication. She's the younger half-sister of actress and producer Sarina Taylor.
Genevieve began her modeling career as a teenager, when she was signed by South African agencies Fusion Models and Grace Model Management. She then signed for Martez Model Management, who helped her to become an international model.
On 2014 she was the face for Nivea. Her first runway show was on 3rd March 2017 for On Trend South Africa on-line fashion store. On 2017 she was the face of South African cosmetics brand Pink Cosmetics, and also she modeled with her boyfriend Zane Scott.
On September 2017 Genevieve Potgieter walked for Julien Macdonald in the New York Fashion Week SS18. Afterwards she walked for Julien MacDonald again at the Transatlantic Fashion Week SS18 on board the Queen Mary II (which went from South Hampton to New York City). She also walked for some fashion students from Parsons as well. Next, she walked for Julien MacDonald at London Fashion Week SS18.
On February 9 2018 some Genevieve modeling fruits pictures were published at Hunger magazine. On spring she traveled to Turkey to model for the travelling brand Gandy's, founded by two orphan brothers who lost their parents in the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami in Thailand. She then walked in 2 London Fashion Week shows, for Rocky Star AW18 and for Limkokwing AW18, the world's first Fashion Brand by a University. Genevieve walked at the 27th Graduate Fashion Week at the Old Truman Brewery for the University of Salford, the Sheffield Hallam University and another university the first day (3rd June 2018) and for the Northampton University and another one the second day (4th June 2018). On September 2018 she modeled for Julien MacDonald and Stories from Arabia for the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer2019 collections. On November 2018 she teamed again with McDonald when he held his Fashion Show For National Osteoporosis Society. On 2022 she walked the runway for Vin+Omi OPINIONS catwalk show during London Fashion Week.
On March 2016 she began dating fellow South African model Zane Scott. On August 2017 they relocated to London, England. On March 28th 2019, while traveling at Mauritius Island, he proposed to Genevieve Potgieter and she accepted. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Genevieve had to go to her hometown in South Africa. It is not clear when the couple drifted apart, and their engagement broke sometime 2020 and 2021. By September 2021 they were not together anymore.
After a year and a half of being in South Africa, she returned back to London on September 2022, with fellow South African boyfriend Kyle Mabe. By 2023 she was working as a photographer and fashion designer in Cape Town, South Africa.
