Elise Caton Williams began her career as an acting intern at the Peterborough Players, a summer-stock theater in Peterborough, NH. She then went to the University of New Hampshire, and studied theatre with an acting emphasis. While in school, she continued acting in her home state of New Hampshire. She worked with companies such as Seven Stages Shakespeare, the Prescott Park Art's Festival, and the Portsmouth Player's Ring, acting in well-known works such as Annie, How I Learned to Drive, and Romeo and Juliet.

After graduating, Elise relocated to New York City, where she worked with several Shakespeare companies, performing many of the classics such as Hamlet, Othello, Henry V, the Tempest, and the Two Noble Kinsmen.

She then traveled to Virginia to play the lead role of Beatrice in Endstation Theatre Company's production of Much Ado About Nothing, and Audrey Williams in the musical Hank Williams: Lost Highway.

In 2017, Elise moved to Los Angeles, where she directed a new play written by Ansley Berg entitled Virgin, which was featured in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and played the leading role of Daisy in the British play Daisy Pulls It Off with Sunscreen Theatricals. Elise has been featured in crime reenactment dramas such as Buried in the Backyard and action movies such as War of the Worlds: Annihilation.

Elise was nominated for best actress at the Lovesick Film Festival for her performance as Jade in the short film, Our Castle. The short was also shown at the Culver City Film Festival. She played the role of Detective Warren in the short film Rich, Stupid, Angry, Dead, the role of Julie in the short film The Song is Over, and the role of Jess in the short film Last Week.

Most recently, Elise played the role of Leonora in episode two of Vengeful Heart, Pay in Blood, a western series.
