Throughout her youth, Stef developed a love for the stage through singing, and made quite a name for herself in the competitive circuit as well as going on several choral tours throughout Europe, New Zealand, Australia and China, which lead to her singing at the World Expo in Shanghai 2010. As an only child, Stef was encouraged to pursue many creative avenues including dance (tap, jazz, Irish, hip-hop), musical instruments (piano, guitar, flute, alto/tenor sax), and eventually acting. She was a member of her schools Theatre Sports team 2010-12 and in 2011 played Jan in the musical "Grease". In her senior year she also completed The Griffith University: Introduction to Acting, and NIDA short courses.
After graduating high school she moved to Yorkshire, England, where she worked at an elite boarding school as a T.A. She later moved to North London and worked in an award-winning bakery, completed a short course at The Royal School of Speech and Drama, and did stand-up comedy on the side. In January 2016, Stef was accepted into The American Academy of Dramatic Arts 2 year Conservatory Program in Los Angeles, and was later invited to join their 3rd year Company. Stef currently attends The Groundlings School and Upright Citizens Brigade as well as being a member of two performing improv troupes. Miss Beaton also co-founded the comedy Duo "Bad Cookies", a sketch web series that allows her to write, direct, film and edit with her co-star Devan Schoelen.
