Liliana de la Rosa is an Australian Actress, Singer, Filmmaker and Writer from the Gold Coast, Australia. She has been described by industry professionals as "a force to be reckoned with," and is quickly making big moves in the industry. With an energy on camera that has been described as 'palpable and striking,' she has been compared to having a likeness to a young Jessica Alba and the essence of Jennifer Lawrence and Aubrey Plaza.
She is best known for her Lead Role (Jennifer Keane) in the Australian Horror Feature Film 'After She Died,' distributed by Cranked Up Films/Good Deed Entertainment in the US, and directed by Jack Dignan. The movie is available to stream On Demand on iTunes/Apple TV, Amazon Video, Google Play/YouTube Movies, and Vudu. The ambitious thriller had its premiere at the UK's infamous Dead Northern Horror Film Festival in 2022 as well as at Australia's longest running Horror Film Festival: 'A Night of Horror,' where it won the award for Best Australian Feature Film.
Liliana has trained professionally in the Performing Arts across multiple Australian Drama schools including the Victorian College of the Arts and NIDA. She has proven herself to be an incredibly skilled performer with an unwavering grasp of human behaviour. After finishing Theatre school, she has since been working closely with renowned Coach and Mentor Les Chantery, as well as with Casting Director Tom Mcsweeney, and with Ben Matthews at Acting Mastery Studio in Sydney. She is currently working in Los Angeles and training closely with Anthony Meindl at his Actor's Studio in Hollywood.
Also an accomplished Filmmaker, Photographer and Writer - Liliana has created several of her own independent works and Short Films which can be found on Youtube, Vimeo and Instagram - her most notable being 'The Sleepless Peak' (2023) and 'Dance til you Die' (2024). She is currently in development writing her first Feature Film which she aims to start Pre Production for in 2025.
Other recent credits include: Starring in the Australian Feature Film 'Hood Safari' (2024) directed by Jake Moss. Acting in comedy skits with Granny Flat Comedy (TV series) created by Nicholas Burton and Dave Hoey which has now amassed millions of views on Instagram and Tik Tok. She has starred as the Lead on several professional Short Films, Commercial, Stage and Independent films including the Short Film 'Dreamlink' (2024) directed by Kalani Gacon which was nominated for the 2025 AACTA Best Short Film Award. 'Sterling Rose' (2024) directed by Mason Hubbard. 'The Savvy Bedlam Boarding House' (2022) produced by Ten Coat Productions. 'Jade' in 'Dug Your Grave' (2020) Screen Queensland Film initiative with Sunshine Coast Screen Collective. Television Mini-Series 'Now More Than Ever,' (2020).
On stage, she had her Professional Theatre debut in the Australian Play 'Blue Murder' (2018). She starred as 'Gloria' in the (2022) Stage Play 'Sex Shop,' directed by Jake Moss at Brisbane Arts Theatre. In 2023, she worked closely with Shaun Rennie for his Musical Theatre Masterclass course, whilst also attending callbacks for several main stage Musicals touring Australia. She was awarded the 71st Barbara Sisley Award in 2017 for receiving the highest Speech and Drama examination score with Trinity College London and had the honour of being able to perform her original written theatre piece 'Queen' at Brisbane Parliament House. She worked closely during her high school years with Shake and Stir Theatre Company in Brisbane were learnt and performed Shakespeare's works.
