His interest with visuals began with slides and prints, shown to him by his father, who was a photographer. Travelling around Europe and Central America, Piotr developed his interest in the field of reportage photography. Among other projects he created a series of portraits at the Eictv International Film School in Cuba. After returning to Poland he worked on Polish film productions. He's a cinematography major at the Krzysztof Kieslowski Film School. He was nominated for a Golden Tadpole at Camerimage. Films he made were featured in the short films competition of Bogoshorts in Bogota, Le Plein de Super in France, Nature Film Festival Godollo in Hungary, Kharkiv International Festival of Arts and Travel in Ukraine or at the Polish Film Festival "Prowincjonalia". He has done camerawork for numerous commercials and music videos. The fashion film "Less Fashion, more donuts" with his cinematography was nominated for the "Best Fashion Film" award at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival.
