Deidre Rose
- Actress
A force both on stage and in life, Deidre Rose's journey has been anything but ordinary. From her cowboy-filled childhood in rural California to graduating from the prestigious London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), her life has been a tapestry of adventures.
Deidre's versatility as an actor embodies her fearless spirit-whether she's singing to hundreds, graduating at the top of her class in mathematics, hiking Bali's highest volcanoes under the stars, or embarking on a solo road trip across the American Southwest. Every project she takes on is infused with heart, soul, and an unparalleled commitment.
Picture her as the intelligent and resilient Claire Fraser from Outlander (nailing the RP accent), the fierce Beth Dutton from Yellowstone, or the ingénue Dolores from Westworld. Not just a leading lady, she's played a demented Conjurer in The White Devil and delivered comedic gold in clown performances.
Her classical training adds yet another layer of depth, with moving portrayals of Lady Anne in Richard III and Ophelia in Hamlet. Her fiercely bold Kate from The Taming of the Shrew is a force to be reckoned with, while her impeccable comedic timing shines in vaudeville and commedia performances.
Her athleticism-including intense training in swordplay, horseback riding, and kitesurfing-equally equips her for action-packed roles.
In London, she portrayed iconic characters like Mark Antony in Julius Caesar and Vittoria in The White Devil, while also performing in various Shakespeare in the Parks. Her screen credits include co-starring in the mainstream Bollywood Marathi film Kanni and the indie hit Through the Ashes, which has garnered over 3.4 million views on YouTube.
After her stage debut in the well-reviewed Brilliant Lies at San Francisco's Firescape Theatre, she made her mark in Bay Area immersive theater as the vaudeville ingénue Viola in The Speakeasy SF, delivering a showstopping rendition of Gracie Allen's "Lambchops."
Deidre Rose also holds a B.S. in Mathematical Economics and a B.A. in International Relations, was Pre-Law, and has studied Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Arabic internationally.
Deidre has recently returned to Z/A Studio in LA to further her onstage acting training while expanding her teaching endeavors.
