- Aditya Rawal is a writer and actor from Mumbai, India. After completing the Initiation Course in Devised Theatre and Performance at the London International School of Performing Arts in 2014, he went on to graduate from the Dramatic Writing MFA Program at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. His play, The Queen, was performed in New York City in 2016 and received the Best Original Script prize at the New York Innovative Theatre Awards. He has co-written the screenplay of the upcoming Hindi feature, Panipat, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. His next play, Siachen, will be staged at the Baruch Centre for Performing Arts, New York, in April 2020. Multiple short films written by him have been screened at festivals around the world. Also an accomplished actor, Aditya plays the lead role in the Hindi feature film titled Bamfaad, which is slated for release later in 2019. - Aditya Rawal was a professional footballer, he played as a goalkeeper. He attended the India U-15 and U-23 national camps. He played for Maharashtra, captained Mumbai University and was the youngest player in the I-League 2 (2011-12 season).
- Aditya learned how to ride a motorbike for his role in the feature film, Bamfaad.
- In school, he was not only active in theatre and sports, but was also a quiz champion. He won the Discovery Quiz (hosted by Derek O'Brien), the BBC UK Radio Quiz and many others national quiz competitions.
