Erinç Durlanik completed his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He specialized in acoustics. After he worked as an R&D engineer in corporate companies, he changed his career and started directing. In addition to directing, he worked as a writer, editor and producer in various documentaries, commercials, music videos and short film projects. His short stories were published in various literary magazines. In 2019, he shot the fictional short film "A House Plant Named Yasemin", and in 2021, after his dogma95-produced experimental film "International Departures", he shot the fictional short film "When The Shift Ends" (2023), and co-directed a documentary named "The Queen's Illusion" (2024). He has appeared in national and international festivals and won several awards with his films.
