Jose Guillermo Hernandez Yeo was born in Sahuayo, Michoacan, Mexico, oldest of 2 siblings. From an early age, Guillermo began playing drums and singing, as art and music were his passions. He then moved to Monterrey, Mexico to study Culinary Arts. After graduating from college, he moved with his family to Miami, FL, where he met Oscar nominee Adriana Barraza, who introduced him to acting, where he performed on stage in several productions such as Alejandro Jodorowsky's "El Gorila" and many others.
Guillermo's fascination for theatre was so big that he decided to attend the Acting Conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City, where he a became a better actor by using the Adler technique. He then learned the Meisner acting technique with acting coach and Mexican TV star Sebastian Ligarde when he moved back to Miami.
Guillermo had his TV breakthrough in Reina de Corazones in 2014, for Telemundo, but his success continued to grow, appearing in big productions like Telemundo's Mariposa de Barrio in 2017 and ABC's Grand Hotel, produced by Eva Longoria in 2018.
He continues to shine, making a name for himself and representing the Latin community, working on more projects in both the Latin and the American market in the United States.
