Former White House aide Steve Bannon issued a message to his supporters, saying their victory in this year’s election is imminent.
In July 2022, Bannon was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress for refusing to give documents to the House Select Committee on the U.S. Capitol riots after he had been subpoenaed.
A federal judge sentenced him to four months in prison for his charge in October 2022.

While still in his cell in Danbury Prison, where he is serving his four-month sentence, Bannon delivered his message in an op-ed for The National Pulse, a hard-right digital magazine founded by former Breitbart editor Raheem Kassam.
This op-ed had been published on Sept. 26.

Concerns that a second Donald Trump term could take an iron-fisted turn have been amplified by Trump himself. Instead of refuting reports that have warned of his authoritarian aspirations for a return to the White House, Trump has now declared twice that he’ll act as a “dictator” — clarifying he’d only need such powers on “Day One.”
The former president’s dictator shtick has generated an enthusiastic response from his right-wing boosters — ranging from those who insist the president is just trolling the left, to others who have revealed that they are strongman-curious,...

Jenna Ellis smiled in her mugshot. The former Trump attorney who was indicted alongside him and 17 others over an alleged conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results even made the Fulton County booking photo her profile picture on Twitter. “Those who mock me, my former client, and my God want to see me break and they aren’t going to get that satisfaction,” she told The New York Times in August.
On Tuesday, through tears, Jenna Ellis accepted a plea deal from Georgia prosecutors. Five years probation and some community service...

Matt Gaetz doesn’t want to shake my hand when I walk into his office. Considering what he is doing, I’m glad he doesn’t. “I don’t want to get concealer on you,” he explains, turning away from his mirror to greet me. “I promise I’m not doing this for effect for your interview.” A Mac Cosmetics case sits open on a nearby table. He turns back to the mirror and resumes dabbing his face. “Go right ahead with your questions,” he says.

Since being booted from the White House and pushed out of Breitbart, Steve Bannon has devoted his time to boosting candidates like Roy Moore and, apparently, producing a new film, Trump @ War. President Trump’s former chief strategist debuted the trailer for his forthcoming “documentary” on Axios Thursday morning.
The clip features cameos from fellow ex-campaign manager Corey Lewandowksi, ex-White House aide Sebastian Gorka, Fox News’ Pete Hegseth and ex-Breitbart London editor Raheem Kassam, as well as footage of Antifa violence spliced with sound bites from Democrats like Tim Kaine,...

In early 2011, Glenn Beck thrived in conservative media. Once a little-known anchor for Hln, he found his voice on Fox News, running neck-in-neck with Sean Hannity in the ratings and trading jabs with liberal icons like Jon Stewart.
Then, after a brutal and sustained advertiser boycott, Fox News fired him. New York Magazine reported that Fox News chief Roger Ailes worried Beck’s conspiracy theories had almost “engulfed” the network. Around the same time, a reality show star named Donald Trump began making regular appearances on “Fox & Friends.” You know how that turned out.
The different fortunes of Beck and Trump almost perfectly illustrate the unpredictable ups and downs of life in the public eye. In the years since Trump’s unlikely rise, one-time outsiders have climbed by clinging to his coattails. And one-time stars of the right have slipped.
