Darcy Kriegsman

An award-winning, American actress and Pekin, IL native, Darcy has lived in the Carbondale, IL area since attending graduate school in 1986. After a lifelong career in brain-injury rehabilitation as a behavior analyst, she retired early to focus on family, travel, volunteering, and leisure pursuits like acting. Darcy's community theater credits include leading roles in "Blithe Spirit", "Last of the Red Hot Lovers", and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", among others. Darcy has appeared in several, full-length movies and a couple dozen short films, though her first love has always been live theater. Her interests include hiking/outdoors, dance/fitness, cycling, and travel, and she has an extensive background in dance and community theater, spanning most of her life.
